About Us
Let’s introduce ourselves first.
André Mellet
André grew up in Pretoria and matriculated from the Afrikaans Hoër Seunsskool. He enrolled in architecture at the University of Pretoria in 1987, and obtained his degree CumLaude in 1991. After obtaining valuable experience working for other firms he started Mellet & Human Architects with Willem Human in 2000. He is in charge of conceptualization, design and marketing.
Willem Human
Willem grew up in the Free State and matriculated from the Kroonstad Hoërskool in 1978. He started studies in Engineering at the University of Pretoria, but soon realized his real passion is in architecture. After obtaining his architecture degree, he worked in Windhoek, Johannesburg and Pretoria. He joined André as co-founder of Mellet & Human Architects. His expertise
is in the field of technical documentation and detailing of designs.
